Day 1

Lima

the City of Kings

Today we meet at the Lima airport or at the hotel (depending on everyone's arrival time). We will check into one of the safest and most comfortable districts in the capital, Miraflores. Today we have planned surfing on the Pacific Ocean waves, a team trip briefing, and a welcome dinner at a fantastic Peruvian restaurant featuring local dishes. By the way, Peruvian cuisine is ranked in the top 10 best in the world!

Over the course of our 14-day trip, we’ll tick off every "must-have" experience on our list.

Day 2

Cordillera Blanca

Peruvian Andes

At the first light of dawn, we’ll hop into our 4x4s and leave the bustling capital behind. Today, we have a long drive ahead along the Pan-American Highway toward the high-altitude Ancash region (which means "blue" in Quechua). It’s aptly named, as it’s here, at altitudes over 4,000 meters above sea level, tucked away among the majestic peaks of the Cordillera, that you’ll find lagoons in colors so incredible, no AI could ever generate them!

We’ll spend the night in the city of Huaraz, at an altitude of 3,052 meters. Time to rest, explore the city, and enjoy dinner.

Day 3

Huascarán National Park

views straight out of Paramount Pictures

Today, we head out for an acclimatization trek to the stunning Laguna Parón, the largest lake in the Cordillera Blanca, sitting at 4,155 meters. It’s an easy route, with most of the distance covered by car, but you’ll definitely feel the altitude—breathing gets a bit heavier, but that’s perfectly normal. At the top, you’re greeted by striking turquoise water surrounded by snow-capped peaks, including Artesonraju, the mountain that inspired the Paramount Pictures logo. After a short hike, we’ll go kayaking amidst the Andean beauty and fly our drones: the scenery here is truly out of this world!

Day 4

Laguna 69

Huascarán National Park

Today we increase both the altitude and the distance of our trek. We can say with confidence that every step will be worth it. Laguna 69 is located at an altitude of 4,600 meters. The trail winds through magical meadows where the happiest cows on the planet graze, (perhaps even happier than the Swiss ones).

Throughout the journey, we will be able to admire the peak of Huascarán, the highest in Peru at 6,768 meters, named after Emperor Huáscar. The round-trip trek takes approximately 7 hours (18 km).

Day 5

Return to Lima

No early wake-up call today. We’ll wake up at a leisurely pace, have breakfast, and head back to Lima. Depending on when we arrive in the capital, we will either go straight to dinner to recover after our intense treks or spend the sunset by the Pacific Ocean.

Days 6-7

Huacachina Desert

Tacama winery and Paracas National Reserve

Peru is a land of contrasts, and today we are heading from the mountains to the desert! Dune buggy rides, sandboarding, and a magical sunset will fill you with pure, childlike wonder. The next day, we will visit the oldest vineyard in South America, we will taste pisco and wines, then head by boat to the Ballestas Islands to observe sea lions, penguins, and birds. We will end the day by returning to Lima and swapping our cars for flights!

Days 8-11

The Inca Empire

Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, Red Valley

After flying to the Inca capital, Cusco, we will prepare for our main hike — the world-famous Machu Picchu, one of the wonders of the world. We will take a scenic train ride, enjoy a guided tour, have lunch, and return to Cusco. The next day, we will trek to the colorful Vinicunca and the mysterious Red Valley, where 90% of tourists never go. We will wrap everything up with a leisurely coffee, some shopping, and a flight to a new region.

Days 12-15

Peruvian Amazon

the heart of the jungle

We will take an afternoon flight to Iquitos, the gateway to the Amazon, which can only be reached by plane or boatWe’ll head to Nauta and then take boats into the jungle. Two days at an adventure camp in the heart of the Amazon: night walks, piranhas, sloths, monkeys, swimming in the Amazon, anacondas, a village school visit, and a local party. Then, we fly to Lima to enjoy some comfort and say goodbye to an adventure that will stay with us forever!
