Mexico + Guatemala

‍We’re meeting 14,000 km away from home! Mexico City will welcome us with open arms, offering a cozy retreat at our wonderful hotel to rest and recharge after the long journey. We’ll spend the day strolling leisurely through the capital’s charming streets, snacking on tacos, and dancing to the non-stop rhythms of mariachi. And of course, our welcome evening wouldn't be complete without a shot of tequila or mezcal!

‍Today is a day you will want to remember forever. Before sunrise, we head to the "City of the Gods." We’ll take to the skies in a hot air balloon to watch the dawn break over the majestic Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. After landing, we’ll celebrate the flight with breakfast inside a cave at the famous La Gruta restaurant.

After our "anthropological" pursuits, we return to the "bohemian" side of Mexico City. After a few hours of rest, we’ll continue our exploration at the evening Garibaldi Square!

Before dawn, we’ll hop on a plane and fly to one of Mexico’s most dreamlike regions: Baja California Sur, or what Jacques Cousteau famously called "The World's Aquarium." Upon arrival, we’ll pick up our trusty four-wheeled steeds and head straight for the Sea of Cortez to get up close and personal with whale sharks and take our first dip in these magical waters!

‍We’re heading to one of the top three lagoons in the Gulf of California for an encounter with dozens of whales and their calves. From mid-February through the end of March, you have the best chance of getting up close with the whales—especially the newborns, who are incredibly playful and curious.

‍We’ll speed across the water to explore the wild coves of the Sea of Cortez—the "world's aquarium," as famously dubbed by Jacques Cousteau! Get ready to snorkel through a kaleidoscope of fish, swim with playful sea lions, and hunt for incredible flying manta rays (with plenty of photo ops, of course). To wrap it all up, we’ll head to a deserted beach for a private picnic.

‍After breakfast, we’ll pack up, say goodbye to the Gulf of California, and head to the airport. Today, thanks to air travel, we’ll cover several thousand kilometers and arrive in beautiful Guatemala by evening. From there, we’ll take our pre-booked transfers to the colonial gem of Antigua! We’ll check into our fairytale hacienda—and that’s no exaggeration—for the night.

We’ll wake up at the foot of the active Fuego volcano, which we’ll get to know better soon. Today is a free day for you to explore the city at your own pace, enjoy plenty of great coffee, and take your time picking out gifts for your loved ones.

These two days will redefine your idea of adventure and push your limits: we will ascend through the clouds to an altitude of 3,600 meters, arriving at our exclusive campsite where spacious premium tents with real beds and warm blankets await. You will sip hot cocoa on a cozy terrace, mesmerized by the sight of the Fuego volcano erupting in the night.

After a quick pit stop, we will leave our backpacks at the camp and head out to summit the Fuego crater, giving you a front-row seat to watch the eruption against a backdrop of clouds and sunset!

After the wild volcanic adventures of Guatemala, you will dive into three days of pure bliss on Mexico's Caribbean coast. Our home will be a cozy private villa, where you can lazily chill by the pool or on the beach with a cocktail in hand, recovering your strength after the hiking. We will explore mysterious cenotes—fantastic underground lakes of crystal-clear water surrounded by tropical jungle—swim in turquoise waters, and sunbathe on snow-white beaches. It is the perfect balance of a complete reset, vibrant Caribbean parties, and aesthetic relaxation after our previous active adventures!
